Bustamove is right. Only about 3% of your oil is being used for lubrication at any given time. The other 97% is used for cooling. This is true with any engine. And the Brute needs all the cooling help it can get so don't let it run low. Consider an oil cooler too. Best thing I ever did for mine.

just make sure when you check it that you srew it all the way in first some people just pop it in or out and not screw it in all the way and think they are low then over fill it. the brutes get overfilled they like to blow the excess out easily esp if your doind wheelies

That'd for sure...and it even says in the book to screw the dipstick all the way in ro check it. Those threads are like 3/4" long...and that makes for a way overfilled engine.

sounds like a plan i will look into it so about how much did the job cost to put an oil cooler?

Less then 150. I would do the 4-pass cooler If I was to do it again, and if your radiator is on top, then for sure put it under the plastics in front. Here is a link to my writeup.

looks like it would be pretty easy to get on ther. so would the oil cooler to the same thing as the radiator and cake up with mud just like the radaitor and over heat

Probably...so nothing says you can't mount it in front of the radiator on top!

Well put it under the plastics. At worst it will still radiate some but not all of the oil's heat. At best, it will work fine.

ok i got my oil seal in come to find out 92049 was the wrong part its to small so i went back and looked come to find out its 92049A so i will wait for it to come in. but i have to say the axle was very easy to take off by hand
