Your right, it is suppose to be running through the frame then up to the Pod.

I thought so. I gave mine a tug on either end it seems to go through. That's why I don't understand why people are re-routing that outside the frame to the pod...when it already goes to the pod and its protected by the frame. Is it just me..or am I missing something.

Unless it is disconnected at the exit on the front of the Frame(shifter), then yes, you can have a problem.

I finally put the new pump on today, hooked everything back together and tried to start it. Its not getting gas. The pump is working fine when we disconnect the hose its got pressured gas in it. The guy thats helpin me work on it said there is a water sensor underneath the air filter and that it couldve gone bad and thats whats resticting the gas from going in. Let me know if u know anything about this cause im really ready to ride!!!!

Never heard of such a thing. Its fuel injected. If the rails have the proper pressure to the injectors, then the injectors are not functioning. That could be a controler issue or connection issue. Also could be a crank position sensor bad.

I looked it up on babbits the sensor is about 38 bucks. There is an air and a water sensor under the box. If u put gas in it manually it runs so its got to be some sensor.

mine only goes into the frame like 1/2 then uses the frame as its tube upto the shifter then continues to the pod. but if that connection at the frame side or if the tube pops off then it will suck in mud.
