Default Repacking the muzzy

Anyone on here ever re-packed their muzzy? I want to do this cause mine is to damn loud, but there are so many different products to do this. Wondering what I should go with here.

Doesn't Muzzy make a re-pac kit for it?

Dont know if your still looking for a kit, but I used the 650 kit. It comes with a new core and is ready to slip in the can. Pretty cool deal. Pain in the booty but well worth it.

Did you order it right from muzzys or is there another place I can look? does it come with instructions? I realize you have to drill out the old rivits..never done it before tho

I ordered it straight from muzzy. It comes with new rivets, and the packing ready to slip in. The packing is already wrapped around the core. I dont want to make this sound easier than it is, cause it really can be a headache. Just drill out your rivets. Take a punch and knock the rivets out all the way. Dont hit them too hard though. The hardest part is getting the cap off. If you have to bend out the end of the can to get it off. When you go back with the end cap just trake a hammer and tap it back. Makes for a good seal on the cap as well. Just take your time and make sure the core is lined up with the cap on the other end so you dont tear up the core too much. Any other questions let me know. You will need a rivet gun to reattach the cap. Good luck.
