We did a little over 100 miles at last years Slumlord Ride. I had carried an extra 5 gal can with me and added it when it got low the second night. I had almost a 1/2 tank left when it was over. That was the longest ride I have been on riding the Brute... Loved every minute of it, Bad To Da Bone!

The 20mpg day was up in Colorado last summer on my 08 750, riding with a few slow poke's!
The Following day I was on the throttle all day and my mpg showed it at 15mpg, I enjoyed every mile of that day too..

What's "doubling"? On the watch list, check all suspension parts for wear including wheel bearings, check the oils...all of them..look for milky oil in the caps, top of dip stick, color of oil should be clean. Check for engine noise such as chinking, clicking or worse..knocking. See that all the electrical parts work. Look for coroded connections low, that would indicate its been in water. Play in differentials, See that the actuators still work correctly. Look for evidance of water or mud in the airbox. Take filter out and look down the carbs...make sure there is no dirt in there..if so...walk away. Look for black sut on the end of the muffler. Check that it doesn't smoke....all these things are what to basicly look for in any used ATV.

Not for a while. Bought this one for 8400us and spent another...over 5K now with the second set of tires on it now and it is still like new...better then new IMO. Also, when the time comes,... my next one ...probably won't be a Kawie unless thay make some major changes.

What would you consider getting over a brute? i would love to get a Can Am Renegade X or Outlander X but I don't love the Idea over spending over ten thousand dollars on an ATV .

Either one but the price is holding me back too. I also see that swbf900 didn't have a good experience with his outy. Says it sucked on the trails...likes the Brute better. It will be a while. My 06 is still like new.
