If I can wake up at a decent time in the AM i'll be dropping the 650 off at the dealer and in a week it will be turned into a 750 setup exactly the same. YAY cannot wait...EFI here I come
I haven't had any problems what so ever with my 09 brute. I was just paranoid about it when I first bought it. I take care of mine very well and it can take a beating! I'm always faster than the carbed 750's I ride with (only 2 of them) the rest of my friends all have 09 efi's and they love em too. No problems. I love this machine, brand new for susbtantially less than 7 grand. Can't beat that either. Can am wanted 10 thousand for the outlander, and it doesnt even look as badass as these brutes.

I like the outlander and the renegade alot. I really want a renegade but its nice having the utility racks also and I cant get rid of the V cause i love it to much. But for what can am wants i have have 2 new 750's for the price of 1 can am. Next year though i'll be looking into a teryx cause riding double on the brute is getting old

Yes sir, kaw hit the nail on the head when it comes to affordable big bore machines, even the 650 for that price is pretty kick a$$. I do like the can ams a lot but would never buy one new, maybe used if the price was low low low. They're just too expensive BUT they are built a lot better. There's no arguing with that.... lol Just look at how the suspension works on one of those things, it's a lot different. BUT like I said, for one can am you can buy two brutes and if you have even a little handyman in you anyone can do the maintenance and keep it running, forever. At least I could and probably just about everyone else on this site. Yeah, I'm going to shutup now, but I for one just cant believe how more bang you get for your buck with the brute. The EFI is really awesome too, the torque is BAM right there. OK OK SHUTing up now, you all know that already hahaha.

When I first started my search, I put on deposit a Renegade 500 and a DS90 for my son. After doing A LOT of research, I couldn't sleep at night knowing the frames HAD to be re-inforced before you even ride it! I know they all need some sort of mod to be well, "user friendly", but to have to cut and fit three one inch by 54 inch square tubes and then re-weld up the frame end was too much for my liking. So, I'm not sure that they're "built better". Even the Dealer said the DS90's they had were problemsome and had to borrow parts off stock units to keep their customers happy because they couldn't get them from Can-Am! Ended up with an '09 BF 750 and a KFX90 for a few hundred less. The Rene 500 was going for $6400 at the time and was a great deal, an '08 leftover. Have about 130 miles on my Brute now, no issues other than a low speed lean-pop that I think I corrected with the air by-pass screws {I'll know today, did it last night}, and haven't looked back. The power and sound are incredible. Ordered an HMF swamp series slip-on that should be in Monday. OH....my son's KFX has been trouble-free too and much faster with the collar removed!!!!

Wow, I had no idea the can-am frames were that weak. Apparently that is a huge problem with them. I have never heard about that before. I was just going by the differences I saw in the suspension from the brute force to the outlander. Apperently the chasis are very prone to buckling and bending. I guess you learn something new everyday. I officially retract any positive review I gave the cam-am. Makes me glad I got the kaw, haha.

I never ended up getting the bike today like I was supposed to. The front skid plate never came in do to getting held up in shipping cause of the snow storms. Also they wouldnt switch my primary off the 650 to the 750 cause the part # was different. I confirmed with VFJ that it was no biggie and they said ok but then told me they called kawie and kawie said not to do it cause it would mess something up etc etc. So as long as I had to wait a few more days to pick up the bike I figured I might as well send the new primary to VFJ to get my clutch set up the way I wanted it again. So we are on for this following weekend...The skid plate better come in...Atleast I got to ride the VForce today...I love that thing
