Default Vent lines

Hey everyone, I am new to this site as I just bought an 08 750i camo, what A blast to ride. My question was about all the vent lines, are they already up in the pod or do they need re-routed???? Diffs/gas tank and???

Thanks
CB

Most of your vents are already up there but its a good idea to go ahead and run the gas tank vent up. It has a checkvalve that is run to the frame but thats it. I went a head and ran mine all the way up to the pod. Its very easy to do. I also ran my crankcase vent up to the pod as well. The crank case vent is attached to the bottom of your air box. If you do long wheelies it will cause oil to enter the air box through the vent line and enter the pistons causing your bike to briefly smoke. You do not have to move this vent but it will keep you from smoke with long wheelies and also help prevent water from entering the bottom half of the motor in the case you do get water in the air box.

The gas tank vent and the crank case vent need to be run up there like mentioned earlier. The one you noticed when putting on your skids is probably you carb bowl drains. There is a check valve on them, so it shouldn't be an issue. Some people take it out and just run a piece of the tube from one drain to the other. Then they have to unhook one end to drain one bowl and then hook it back up and unhook the other end to drain the other.

The bottom tube is coming out of the bottom of the engine under where the coolant goes in. Coolant impellar area??? I ran it up to the pod along with the coolant tank overflow tube, just to be safe.
