Rough after snorkel
Well just snorkeled the brute saturday, took her out for a test drive and all seemed fine, ran good still had all her power etc. etc.
Well I had to move her out the garage and put it back in its parking spot in the shed and it was all i could do to keep it running, even at full choke it would still die out if i didnt give it some gas. Let it sit for a few minutes while it would stay running thinking maybe if it warmed up a bit it would act right, so i go to move it and it dies. Any time i would let off the gas it would sputter down and die.
Tried lifiting the airbox lid to see if it wasnt getting enough air but that didnt make it any different.
Any idea would be great.
To dark out to do anything atm so ill tinker with it a bit when i get home from work.

Rough after snorkel
Open up the carb drain screws and drain the carbs. Mine ran horrible for no apparent reason and has ran great since I drained the carbs.

The drains are the screws that face sideways on the bottom of the carbs.
This is since you snorkeled and no other changes, correct? You may want to check your carb mount boots for cracks. Running OK with choke on but not with it off would signify LEAN. Get a light and look between the carbs and the heads and then push around on your carbs and see if you see a crack open around the clamps. Or use a propane torch to flow a little gas around the boots and see if the engine changes while doing so. If it does you are sucking air.
