People have been moving away from the stealth installations because of issues with wear on cables and stearing restrictions. The airbox inlet is about equal to 2.23 ID pipe, so that pretty close to 2.25. After all the bends and restrictions in channeling air that distance, people found that the 3" over the stock intake offers enough free-flow that it didn't require any additional jetting of mapping mods, however if you are going for the stealth setup with twin intake snorkles, and will be cutting another hole in the box, then with using the flex hose, I would probably say 1 1/4" for both to start with. One may have to be changed to 1 1/2 because you will want to ne slightly over the total stock intake size but you won't be using any fittings at the top, so may not need it.
