Crankcase vent mod
There has been instances where some of us like to walk the bike or water wheelie on our brutes and then she goes to smokin. If you have a snorkel kit you can run the crank vent out and T into the intake snorkel and that will cure your problem. REASON
Crank case vent is connected in the rear of the engine and gravity makes the oil run to the back of the engine and the air box creates a suction on the vent line because the oil closes off the end of the line that connects to the engine and pulls it into the air box therefore causing it to burn off the oil in the combustion chambers.

Just wondering how running it into the intake snorkel will cure the problem. Is there less vacuum produced there?

I have been told to just run it up with your snorkels or under your handlebars.

Crankcase vent mod
Kawasaki and all other manufacturers run the crankcase vent to burn off the light mist from the pressure in the crank case on the brute it just so happens to be at the back of the engine and the hose is so short that when you set the front of the bike back down the oil in the line burps into the air box and it is normally a good bit of oil and what the cylinder does not burn off stays in the pipe and continues to burn. So by extending the vent line up into your intake snorkel does not stop the crank case from venting it just gives the oil a lot longer to travel you would have to turn it upside down to leak oil out of it but you could also run a catch bottle as well just us mudders dont like the hassle of having something else to seal up and keep out of the water. So there is really more than one way to skin that cat.

THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN THAT JASON RUNNING THE VENT LINE TO THE HANDLE BARS WOULD ALSO WORK RIGHT? CAUSE I,M SNORKELED BUT I DON,T WANT TO TAP INTO IT. IT,S EASIER TO GO TO THE BARS

In order to tap in all you would have to have is a 2" T and a reducer from 2" to 5/8" nipple and it will hook right up. Just cut your intak snorkel about center ways and install the T. You would need to drill one more hole though in your accessory plug bracket or whereever but it works either way just keep in mind if that vent hose goes under water it is going to fill the crank case with water.

on mine to keep from having the milkshake if the bars go under I bought a 2 line PCV valve from oreillys and installed in the end of the line. the 1 line pcv does NOT let enough air through. but the 2 line pcv valve will let air out but not water in. just a thought.

Good point a pcv valve acts as a check valve allowing air to pass in one direction and not the other. So yes that will work as well if you do not want to tap into the snorkel tubes and that is probably a five to ten dollar fix if I am not mistaken it has been a while since I have purchased one.
