I have an 06 Brute and am wanting to either snorkel it, MIMB style, or do the MudLid. Whatever I do I don't really want to have to rejet. Its not that I cant do it, I just want to be able to ride after I am done. Do they have the issues with the tall filters and MudLid worked out? If so how many are using that setup and was there any jetting changes required? What about the MIMB setup, what size off air box to either eliminate or minimize jetting? The cost isnt really an issue with the lid. Which ever I decide I will be snorkeling the trans intake and exhaust MIMB style.

THanks

Greg G

With all I know and have heard, Snorkle with nothing less then 2.5" stuff. No 2" parts at all and no hard 90s. Most have not had to rejet if they follow that rule...most..not all. As for the mud lid, you can not run it with the stock filter, and the shorter K&N hasn't come through yet, so you will have to get the twinair power flow system. It brings in air from all over including the top. Slumlord can tell you if he thinks it needed rejetting after the lid and the twinair, but I believe it didn't and he loves it.

if you get the shorter but more expensive power flo kit and the mud lid you have alot more money into it but I think its a better setup. You shouldn't have to rejet with it either.
