I know this probably asked before . Did search could not locate. Has anyone used on 08 and 09 750 FI model? How does it work? Is it waterproof as far as if it rains does water get in box?Does it work as good as snorkeling? I like it because it gets rid of steam and stall problem, but do not want to make different issues. I see they also make a mudders model with a higher cover. This would eliminate snorkel and cutting front plastic. Thanks

I designed & manufacture the mudders cover for EHS. I have a 2009 Brute Force. Rain will stay out. I did not want to cut my plastic & snorkel, that's why I came up with the cover. It works very well, allows plenty of air & keeps the steam & mud out. What little bit (and it is very little) of splashing water gets in there is stopped by the waterproof outewears filter. I think you will be pleased with the setup, all of us that have it are.

The lid has a water resistant outerwares rain won't effect it it hasen't on mine
Here is my review on the lid EHS Lid Review
Block the front and as long as you don't go over your air box you should be all set. Deep deep stuff you should snorkle but majority of us don't need to. The mudder lid is a great idea You through that on and don't touch anything remember to block the front.

Mud lid defintly no but the racing lid maybe Vforcejohn told me the EFI should take care of it as long as you block the front intake if you leave the front intake open its to much air.

less air its comparable to stock air input the racing lid like I have they say is compared to adding the 12 hole mod to your air box which is alot more air. Also you should know the racing lid is louder when the bike is running It doesn't bother myself I like the sound but some don't and the mud lid is quieter.

I definitely need to get one of these lids soon. I'm going to go stealth on the CVT and get the lid so I don't have to drill into the box or anything.
