Ram air using snorkeling
I read that ram air using air intake snorkel was a good thing. Well, I totally agree. Today i took off the last 45 elbow of the snorkel and turned the remaining 45 towards the front of the bike. Man, oh Man, just like breathing in a new life. Those carbs loved the air, the faster I went, the better they worked. Gas mileage was almost doubled.
Problem being, cannot use this snorkel in bad weather. I guess I can go back to original snorkel configuration* on those crappy days. Kawi power is still better than most, even when starved for air.

Re: Ram air using snorkeling
Like you said sounds like a good deal until it rains and you have to change back.*

Re: Ram air using snorkeling
I have had my snorkel like this since day 1. But you are right even if there is just mist out the bike wont run right with the snorkel facing the front.
