snorkled 08 brute
so i did the mudinmyblood snorkle. but i only snorkled the intake as i am not looking to find deep water. i just don't want to be riding in some unfamiliar water or mud holes and have the front end drop and suck water in. im paranoid about sinking it.anyways it was going great until i couldn't find one part. the first one that came off the air bow 2 inch rubber 90. i phoned 5 hardware stores local here in bc. and nothing. biggest i could find was 1 1/2. so i had to modify it a bit. but other than that went together easy. thanks "mudinmyblood". i actually find that my 08 has more power. i might be imagining. but it picked up the front wheels a bit more. anyways i thought i would share my modified 90 it not pretty but it works
had to cut the 90 end off your eles it was too long and would hit the steering stem bearing.

i bought a 2inch to 2inch rubber coupler i trimed the excess. so the plastic pipe would fit as close as possible.

and pvc 90 together. i will post the rest later with it all done.. DRILLING the u shaped shield was A PAIN.

Re: snorkled 08 brute
I had the same trouble as you, couldn't find the rubber 90, but modified a hard plastic 90 to work. I don't know maybe they sell those rubber 90 in Sask. or Western Canada? Anyway my snorkel turned out great, my buddies all want one too.

Re: snorkled 08 brute
You don't have to snorkel the exhaust as long as the quad can stay running, if it happens to die in the water you would wish the exhaust was snorkeled though.
