types of hose to use?

I am planning on snorkeling in a couple next weekend as it sucks in water way to easy and I was wondering if it is better to use all pvc style tubing and angles or is it just as good to use some sort of flex hose? The flex hose you could just bend where it needed to go I would think but am not sure if this would work as well. Also how much difference is there between the 07 and 08's for doing the snorkels? Would the mudinmyblood setup work properly for the 08 or would it half to be modified some? Thanks for any help in advance.

The Mudinmyblood will work fine.

MIMB setup will work fine for the 08. Go to the topic about the ninja snorkels if you want to use flex hose.
