Default WATERPROOFING 2008 BRUTE

DID MY SNORKELS ON 08 BRUTE AND I AM GOING ABOUT WATERPROOFING THE AIRBOX I PUT SOME DIAELECTRIC GREASE UNDER THE AIRBOX AND CLAMPED IT DOWN. I WAS WONDERING IF THE SMALL HOLE TO THE FRONT OF THE AIRBOX CAN BE PLUGGED UP OR DOES IT HAVE A FUNCTION ??? ANY OTHER IDEAS OR HELP IS APPRECIATED. THANKS.

if you have it apart dielectric grease all your connections, ALL of them. you will have problems if you dont. put a line of rtv silicone on the air box lid as well.

did ya run carb vents to pod axle vents to pod i pluged the drain on the airbox and that hole u r talking bout make sure shes tight

i don't think the 08 has carb vent lines since it is FI, but does it have any other lines by the intake that have to be moved up?

you need to do that gas tank vent and the radiator overflow.

Dont forget your gast tank vent as stated above.* I forgot mine and it cost me a new fuel pump on a nearly new bike
