Default Snorkle issue...

Forgot to mention this in my fathers day ride thread. I read a couple of times (dont think on the Brute though) that people had issues with liquid lock after towing the bike on a trailer after it was snorkled. well after towing the brute an hour an a half I hit the starter it turned over about 1/2 turn then locked up. I removed the plugs and turned it over. Gas shot out of both cylinders. installed plugs and it fired up. On the way home I shoved a rag into the snorkle and when I got home no problems. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I've had that happen after towing for only half an hour, just a few weeks ago. Im going to make some kind of plug for the airbox snorkle.

It depends on what type of end you have on your snorkle, I have bayou snorkles and just stick a tennis ball in my intake snorkle to plug it up when towing.

I just took a 2" PVC cap and glued a short piece of PVC in it. I just stick it in the intake snorkel when trailering.

I used to do this, but I changed the setup, so now I use a 2" rubber cap.
