Is this right?

I ordered new springs for the clutch in my 750 and when I was changing out the secondary stock to the almond spring I discovered that the almond spring is about twice the length as the stock. Is this right?

sure is right having twice as many coils will give you a firmer spring thus giving you a higher engagment. try to compress them both by hand you will see what i mean

Thanks for the reply. I got it put back together and installed 4 new 27" Swamplites on ITP type 5 rims and the thing is awasome. But I just wanted to check that the spring was the right one, couldn't believe the difference in size.
