Default Brute big bore kit

I was reading about four stroke tech's big bore kit for the brutes, and am wondering does anyone have this mod?? By reading about it I am guessing that it would make my 650 to a 800... or so?? The kit includes: pistons, rings, pins & clips and head gaskets. Is that everything that is needed?

I have the 840 kit in my 750 and let me tell you, it is insanely powerfull.

The cost for the advertised kit is not all inclusive. You will also need cams, valve springs, and to have your cylinders bored and Nik-A-Siled.
Kit listed $470
2 cams $400
Valve springs $190
Bore & Nik-A-Sil $460
Cylinder base gaskets from dealer $10

If you choose to buy the cores and not return your stock cylinders and cams you will pay for the cores.
Cam cores $300
Cylinder cores $600

Total without cores $1530
Total with cores $2430

Then, if you really want to wake it up and get all you can out of the kit.
Full Muzzy exhaust $435
Twin-Air power flow kit $300
EHS air box cover kit $90

Total $3255

Another guy you may want to check with is Flynt Custom Performance. I have heard he makes a he** of an engine as well and I have spoke with him and he is quite knowledgeable about the Kaw V-twin.

Micky at Four Stroke Tech is having a 20 percent off sale this month. Now is the time to do it.I have the 840 kit in my bike and my best 300ft dirt drag times is a 4.90.I would buy the kit from Micky and have a local shop put it together. It does get expensive with the extra stuff you will want.

Will this kit work in my 650 to make it an 840? My engine blew up on me so time for a rebuild and well, go big or go home.

It will with a 700 crank. If you use the 650 crank I think it would be a different size but still a strong motor.

That sounds great, have to put some money together first. I thought that the kit price was too good to be true.... Thanks for the help.

There's Fundy Performace Sports in NS Canada also.

Do your homework and call around first.
