Default 06 BRUTE 750 BROKEN FLYWHEEL TEETH

anyone have the flywheel teeth break on them for no apparant reason?? mine has around 1200 miles on it........

yes it does. iguess it has to much timing advance during cranking? it was back firing out the exhaust before it happened.i replaced the fly wheel it is still backfiring.i'm guess lean mixture because if i put the choke on its not as bad?? any ideas?

Default 06 BRUTE 750 BROKEN FLYWHEEL TEETH

This is a problem mostly seen on bikes with a VDI set with to much initial advance. You normally don't have this problem with the Dyna. They start out at 5-6* I believe it is. Heck, I run a 6* key with a module and that starts out at 11* right of the bottom and doesn't cause this problem

Default 06 BRUTE 750 BROKEN FLYWHEEL TEETH

I know the dealer in town said that they have had problems with the dynatech chip taking out teeth on the starter drive.Something about it kicking back when it stalls.
