Default Shifting Noise

Hello All! Today, I had my first chance to ride my new 07 650i. Wow!!! I was very impressed with the power! One question though, when I shift between high, neutral, and reverse, I hear a loud clanking noise most of the time. Is this normal with the Brute Forces? It only happens as it initially goes into gear. Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

Default Shifting Noise

It is normal, it is caused by the secondary clutch and gears in the transmission spinning slightly due to belt froction and when engaging into gear the gears mash and the noise is the clutch and gears stopping.

Default Shifting Noise

Turn down your idle abit, your idle is set abit to high and its causing the bike to want to go, so when u shift it mashs them together causing it to make the noise, thats also what happens.
