As far as the jetting goes I'm at 142f / 146 r 4th clip on the needle 2 3/4 turns out. This is with a Dynojet kit. It really needs a #40 pilot because it could stand to go another 1/4 turn out. I also have the resisters removed from the plug boots. This will effect the jetting. Your jetting may be totally different when you get it done . All I can say is free up your afternoon , get a hand full of jets , new plugs and do some plug runs. Pay attention to what your plugs tell you.

Stogi,

What's the benefit from removing the resisters from you plug wires and how would I do it?

It gives you a fatter spark. The biggest difference I noticed was it starts and idles better and it leaned it out some so I had to go up one size on the mains. I wouldn't call it a "must do " mod. I saw it on Nyroc and thought I'd try it. All you do is unscrew the plug boot off the plug wire and push the resister out of the boot with a screwdriver.( a little wd40 helps) Put some crimp on type terminals on the plug wires and use CRE8B ngk plugs. They have the lugs on the top instead of the screw type end.

I just took a hammer and srewdriver and beat out the 2 baffles.I then removed some of the packing, not all.I found the bike had a nice rumble to her and the pull to 80kms is unreal.I run 26inch Bighorns and now find the bike pulls up to 96kms with no problem. One thing I have noticed is that she does backfire a little.
Gonna check the plugs tomorrow too make sure I`m not running a little lean.
Ohh yeah my bike is a 650i 07 Brute.

I just put on a HMF Utility pipe /w the Vector Turn Down end & quiet core & I love the sound.

Went riding with 6 or 7 people on Sunday & no one thought it was too loud.

On of the guys we were riding with was on a 450 Wolverine /w a HMF & it was way louder than mine

Mud will wreak havoc on the paking and before long it will sound like straight pipes. I see you have big horns so I assuming you don't get it deep mud. If you keep the HMF out of wet conditions it will last a lot longer.
