who knows the most about 08 fuel systems
If someone could post of PM me a phone number or tell me who to talk to about 08 fuel systems please let me know. Mine is acting extremely weird and id rather explain it by voice instead of text.

Smitty...you been wwith us sence 2007 and this is your first post! Good to hear from you. The FI system although very basic but a 32bit system isn't my thing but maybe someone will chime in with someone other then the dealer to talk to. The only things I hear about the 08 Brute's system is that they have had some problems with fuel pumps on the 08 and the screen in the tank gets plugged a lot and easly. The rest seems pretty good until there is controler failure issues. The O8s also had more issues with the crank position sencor then any other after.

Just some stats Thom, just a few had some problems but I am sure much of that was rider/owner operation related.

Ive been all throught the throttle bodys, lines, had the pump out and cleaned what little I could and tons of toher stuff but I just hate to type out what its going on. Im a veteran member over at Highlifter but I couldent get a good answer over there anymore to save my life. I have worked at 2 different dealerships (kawasaki/ Yamaha and a Kawasaki/Suzuki) as a mechanic and this thing as me stumped.

I also had a 08 750, my friend hasn't had any problems either with the FI pump or two others I know with 08 750's as well.
The Fuel pumps in some of the 08s are suffering from plastic shavings getting stuck in the fuel pump, the shavings came from when the holes were drilled into the gas tank to mount the fuel pump, the drilling shavings were left inside some of the 08 750 gas tanks causing fuel pump problems later.
Other fuel pump problems can be the owners fault too, dirt inside gas tanks, be careful when refueling.

May not be the FIs fault at all. There are a number of pickups and sencers that tell the controler when and what to do. Any one of those being off a bit or failing can cause it to run like hell.

What kind of controller do you have on it? Still OEM or aftermarket? Do you have another one you can plug in and try or one you can borrow from someone? I agree with NMKAWIERIDER it may not be a fuel issue. Probs with the controller are hard to track down sometimes until you just change it out and then its fixed..
