Default oil in airbox

I posted on here a while ago about getting mud and sand in my gas tank and my 09 750 was bogging out. Well I finally got around to changing my clogged fuel strainer and cleaning out the tank good. It fired right up and seemed to be running strong, but I rode it for about two minutes and as soon as it warmed up it felt really hot,and the same problem(loss of power) and I noticed after stopping that there was oil in the airbox. I know at this point its not good, and I don't have money to throw at it but am looking for input on whats wrong. Maybe its time to start saving for a big bore kit.

Oil in the airbox is usualy from wheelies or long periods of high RPMS. It comes up from the crankcase vent.

The rest still may be small particles that got up into the injectors making it very lean. Probably have to have a pro clear the fuel system.

Is there a way to clean the injectors out without tearing them up?

I don't know man..I've never seen one apart. Injector cleaners can get desolvable particulates but not stuff like sand or dust from sand.

Oil in the airbox can also occur if you have too much oil in the crankcase. Assuming you just changed your oil, did you have it full all the way to the top of the dip stick? The V's do not like to be run full of oil. A good place to be is right in the middle of the grids on the dip stick.

Default fuel pressure?

Does anyone know what the pressure is supposed to be for an 09 brute force 750?

Now that's new to me...I've always ran mine with enough oil to cover the grid completely, and not once have I had oil in my air box. Perhaps this is only true with the older Vs, because everything I read about these newer Brutes tells me to keep the oil level high to avoid a spun bearing or a starved cylinder.

For us Brute guys we better keep it to the top of the grid screwed in and if we get oil in the box we better do the catchcan mod. I believe Adirondack Man is talking about the V-Force, Kawie's 700 sport bike. It has had more people putting catchcans on it then anything else on the web. Lots more wheeling and steep dune-riding on those things I guess.
