Pink Primary & Black Secondary 05 BF 650 SRA
Hey guys,
I ended up ordering 26" big horns on ITP108 SS 12" rims and expect them in tomorrow. With this bigger/heavier setup, should I change my clutch springs? I have a DYNATEK CDI, FULL HMF, UNI/K&N so I do have some performance upgrades to compensate a little but I want to make sure acceleration is outstanding.
I called up EPI and talked to their tech support and they recommended Pink Primary and Black Secondary. I want to keep my clutch settings similar to what they are now, but just a little more kick. I do not want stall with the type of use/riding I do.
I am sure I will know what to do tomorrow but I am just trying to be pro-active. Thanks guys

They steered you right. Pink or Maroon Primary and Black or Almond secondary and you should be very happy.

SPRING COMPARISON
Pretty happy with the pink primary and black secondary, very little stall. I do not notice a huge difference but I will report back after this weekend's trip to Bundy Hill. Might try out the maroon next?

Good. I run the maroon primary. Its only about 400 rpms over the stock on stall where the pink is about half that. Still, I think the maroon is hardly noticeable. Now the red primary IS noticeable. One came in my EPI kit. Boy, not what I need on rocky technical trails. About ate my lunch a few times. Good for wheelies though!
