Default clutch spring change

ok guys i just changed springs today from stock to red bot primary and secondary an i was wonering al you had to do was replace the springs right? thanks

Well..Yes...why? The secondary is a little involved with the use of a compressor and getting dogs back in place as well as re-torking the main bolts to 69 ft lbs. No shim changes unless you needed to do something with belt deflection....but...yes, that's it.

the pully seems pulled apart real far like when i turn the secondary pully the belt just slips doesnt grab on the primary. should it do that? does it compress when you run it?

Yes, the front or primary comes together and pulls the secondary apart...you would get a better understanding of it if you ran it with the cover off and in nutral and tacked it up. STAY clear of it though, you can loose body parts in a hurry.

I would recommend that anyone trying to understand one of these cvt trannys to run it in neutral with the cover off just to see how it works. U can learn alot this way in my opinion.

actually i just got the crank case and everything back together sat all i have to do is pistons cylinders and heads and i will back riding.

yeah man you had doubt? i feel pretty good about it i just have to get it timed and every thing ajust my carbs becuase i jetted them then it will be done.
