Default Flushing the cooling system?

Whats the best way to fully flush EVERYTHING that's connected to the radiator? Was riding through the swamp Saturday and in the middle of it the bottom radiator hose came off (engine side) and I could see some nasty water coming out of there. Before I run the Brute again I need to know how I can flush it all out.

I've got some bad popping sounds too but that's another issue. Not sure if it's the axles or the diff yet, but I am hoping it's a boot.

On a side note I do LOVE the Silverbacks. My weekend at MudMuckers was cut short but I got about 6 hours of riding in from Friday-Saturday evening. And I cant forget the Moonshine.

I think I would take the lower hose off the radiator and hook it back up to the pump, then take the thermostat housing cap off and take the thermostat out and pull the upper hose off the radiator. Then rig a water hose to the end of the lower hose but not too water-tightly, then turn it on just a bit and let it leak. Dont wat to damage the empeller. Then start the engine, turn up the water supply and run until clear water comes out the upper hose. Might flush the radiator too. Might do it outside...probably going to be messy.

Damn was hoping for an easier solution, I'm limited on work area, I have to keep the Brute at my dad's and it's a golfing community, I had neighbors b***** about running a drill at 11am.

Thanks for the reply bud. I guess I could take it to a friends or something.

Well you might have mud in the pump and lower gallies. If it had been the upper that came off, it wouldn't be so bad. The lower is the return and all that stuff was pumped in.Hop the pump is still OK. Think I'll go check my clamps right now...lol

Pump should still working. Got it connected up and filled it up with coolant and hauled *** to the truck. Had to go back through the swamp. No chance of someone pulling me through that. I got it back before it had a chance to heat up so I am hoping all is good. I am hoping only dirty water got into it and no thick mud. I stuck some wire in there and couldn't get it snagged on anything. I will let you guys no as soon as I get a chance to mess with it. I'm more worried about the popping noise right now though.

I've got stop leak in the radiator it's going to be hard to tell a difference lol. But yeah I used a clear hose for the lower, and everything looked clean. But not sure about what might be hiding in there.
