Should be. Look under the "Fat" front section. Its like a rubber plug with a wing grip I believe.

glad this came up on a side note. I hate the rubber plug. my seems to leak when under water. On my artic cat it was an actual screw with a rubber gasket. Seemed to work much better. Any one else have this issue? It does not leak a whole lot but enough to get water on the belt at times.

I don't have that problem...but I also don't have any water up here either LOL. I think I read somewhere that someone had modified one of those twist-lock plugs to work...you know the kind that you can insert, then screw in the lever-top, then flip over. Make a small one of these.

Or one of these

So I had a pretty good look around the CVT and I can't find the drain. All the cover bolts are visible so I guess if it swamps the cover has to come off. I thought things like this only happened to polaris's...

My '08 650i has a drain plug (rubber). It's always under water/mud and not a problem. I only get water in my CVT when my CVT exhaust is under water.

Nothing a drill and a plug won't fix.
You can also buy a newer CVT cover + plug and just replace the old one. They aren't that expensive.[/b]

When you say buy a newer one, do you mean for a 650i/750? Or am I just as well doing a little drill job? I'm not losing sleep over this, but... now that I talked about it the CVT will get flooded for sure.
