what is the best spring to put on a 2005 750 brute force? i am getting ready for our local county fairs. i was told that i could change one spring instead of a clutch kit. i just want some real aggressiveness out of the hole. just going to do some roundtrack and about 200 feet of dirt drags. thanks for any help.

I normaly would say the EPI Maroon, but for this event, maybe the EPI Red primary for an additional 300 rpm stall. A kit would be great for you though.

Just my 2 cents

EPI maroon or if you want a little more stall and better snap go with Dalton O/B I liked the Dalton but can be hard to control on take off, the front end doesn't like to stay down. I found the Maroon pretty much covers all your bases and it works great on the trails as well.

The only way to see the full benefit is to buy the cluth kit. For racing, highly recommend the dalton cluth kit. It is a bit pricey but worth it for the brute force. It will come with the orange/blue primary spring which controls stall and shift out rate. Make a wheelie bar for draggin. If you still have you factory wheel/tires, put them on. Put the bike in four wheel drive (on dirt track draggin) and dont let off. JMO.

personally I would get the EPI maroon I run it and tried others I like it the best. Get the Vforcejohn stage 3 clutch mod and you will a big difference right there, best bang for the buck as far as I am concerned.

What would the maroon spring do to my stock 09 brute? I ordered it and plan to do the Vforcejohn clutch but I am going for a big ride this weekend and the spring will be in thursday so I may put it in if does any good.

you will be pleased it gives you more low end snap from the extra grab of the belt. Once you have the clutch mod done and the spring you will see a noticeable difference. Takes about 30 mins to change the spring no problem.

I just did the EPI maroon primary last week! Was running the EPI pink before but like the maroon a lot better! That's what I would go with but your call.......
