Guys,i need your help,to be exact my friend needs your help...
He has the 06 750 brute and today morning he took the bike to go to work and everything ok.
In the afternoon that he went to take the bike again to go home everything was dead...
No lights,no ignition no nothing!!!
Just like that the bike had a black out!!!
I tried to give him power with wires thinking he was out of battery but again nothing...
So i pulled him to leave his bike to the mechanic and he will know tomorrow now what is wrong,if he can find it...
What do you think about that?

Well...no power means either the battery is dead...even might have an internal problem or a bad cell, or somewhere it is being stopped. So, check the power level at the battery. If it is 12V or a little better, move down the line checking the connections, check the fuses and main breaker connections. After that the assessory circut should supply power to the lights and stuff. I know the CDI controls a lot of stuff, but not sure if it does the head lights, but it might have failed. Probably just a bad connection on a battery cable somewhere. Sometimes the switch goes bad, but it should have given some forwarning or trouble first.

What is the worse scenario for this bffreak?
Should't it work after i connected the wires to give him power even if his battery was off?

Well, if it was the battery, that should have got it to at least start, so its down the line somewhere. Do take all the cable connections off and clean then to start though.

Oh boy...how will we get in this mess with all the cables...
You see, there are not only the cables of the bike itself, there are also the additional cables they have installed for the flashers, allarm switches and all that...
In addition, they have changed the left switches with different so the turn signal switch can be on your hand...you understand what a mess can be all that...
Here in greece, before the atvs come, they stop them to KL in italy,to make the changes they need to be street legal and they change all the wiring i think, the exaust and many other things...
Go figure...

Well, for now just focus on the battery cables only. Just check them at the battery, then follow them. One should go to the ground, and the other to the relay where there are ...probably your other cables & wires. Check all those there.

You can call me anything you want but i did not put the wrap at all...
Not that i did not want to,but i had a lot of work all these days and the days that i had time to put it it was too cold...
You see,i do not have a sheltered parking and i would do all this work outside and i was cold to stay 1-2 hours outside...
Next week i will go to change the header with a new one,i do not know if you read my comment on another topic, and on that new header i will put it from the beggining...
Then we will see what it will do.
Thanks for the interest...

Oh...Okay. I thought it would help, but if it didn't I wouldn't suggest it to anyone anymore. Good luck with the new one!
