I did not put it at all if you did not understand...
I think that it will help but in a welded exaust i did not have the mood to put it,not only the time...
I was sure that it would break again so among other things i was bored also to put it...
The strange with all this is that the exaust did not break again exactly,of course i cannot see well in this mess,i will be able to see clear when the man from the exaust shop takes it out but anyway as i was saying, the strange is that the welding got off from the exaust!!!
Maby the welder did not clean the exaust before he welded it and from that i think this thing happened...
Hold on to your horses still and do not take your advice back...
Wait first untill i put the new header with the wrap on it and after we will see what happens...
We see as we go...

I have had my Prairie go completely dead, like your friend's Brute, and it was the battery. Even with a jump, it would not show any sign of life. I had to charge the battery for several hours. It is possible that with all the additional electrical accessories, like the flashers, etc., that the stock charging system is unable to keep up with the drain on the battery and eventually kills it....???

I got water in my winch handle bar rocker control switch one time and the winch sucked in till it bound down with out me knowing it till it choked down the motor and finally died. Before I realized what had happened it killed my battery dead. Its like havin a dead short. Burnt it up. Lucky I didn't mess up more than I did. All I had to do was run to town and buy another HD battery and then filled my rockerswitch with di-electric silicone. No happen no more!!! I love tryin to figure out what the heck gusmx5 is talkin bout. I get better at it after a couple buds!!! We need to get him over here to go ridin with us. I'd say over there to ride with him but nobody else is set up to rip up the highway!!!

Well here is a story for you Me and 3 buddies went for a ride on our motorcycles over in NH and we stopped to get gas and after we filled up my buddy Scott gets on his Honda Shadow and turns the key on and nothing it was dead just like your buddies quad. We jumped it and everything else nothing called a shop and they came and got the bike and come to find out his battery shorted out and put a new batttery in and bam good as new. Also there is a main fuse in the fuse block under the seat that if it blows you have no power to.
Take your battery out of your brute put in yours and see if it runs if it does you know if it doesn't keep looking
good luck

Yes my friends the brute has risen from the dead!!!
It was the battery indeed...
For a long time now his battery was dead and he did not go to change it and now it left its dying breath!
Thanks a lot for the help buddies...

Very good to hear. At least it was an easy fix. Let that be a lesson to all of us...when the battery starts giving you trouble...CHANGE IT! I still have my original battery in my 2006...and expect it to start dying any time now.

My 08 acted totally dead suddenly the other day. I checked the fuses, all good, then tapped on the starter relay and everything came back. Been fine since.Weird.
