Re: New to a brute force
You can send your clutch to vforcejohn, or have engine work done. Those two options are going to give you a lot more power.
I wouldn't bother getting a full clutch kit, just change out the springs. I run 27" Bugs on a stock setup and I have had no problems with slipping.
You can't go wrong with that muzzy, them things are the best for these machines.
Oh, and for the future, remember the OEM belts are the best.

Re: New to a brute force
Yea....no need to get a clutch kit. If you think you need to change something in the clutch, try the EPI almond secondary clutch spring.

Re: New to a brute force
Yeah you wont need the kit. I run 28 " Zillas on my 08 and all i did was add a Almond secondary spring. Works great with no belt slippage so far.
What fuel programmer are you getting? For the best performance i would suggest getting a Power Commander 3 and having it tuned.

Re: New to a brute force
I would look at the Web 150i cam, as well as the Mudbuster.* I ran a Web150i cam in my Prairie and was very pleased with it, for a drop in cam.

Re: New to a brute force
EHS Racing has and air box lid and cover system for the BF that will allow more air.
