I wanted to share my latest install. I went to wal mart and picked up an altec lansing computer stereo system and a power inverter for 60 bucks. I mounted the speakers, 2 speakers and a subwoofer in my tmarack box. I mounted the speakers under each hand rest and the sub on the right side of the box, all anchord with wood screws. I drilled a small hole in the right side bottom of the box and slid my wires through. Routed them under the seat and velcroed the inverter and ipod to the air box lid. The inverter runs on the 12v and the ipod is connected to the input on the speakers. The inverter also has a usb port so i can charge the ipod while listening. It is sweet!!! I have used it with the ignition on and engine off for about 2 1/2 hrs on a few occasions. I also use it to call coyotes. I just put on a 20 min call, open the box facing the woods and let it rip. Good sound, volume and it is a nice touch to the trail side pit stops and bbq's. All this with 100 dollar bill and still plenty of change for the bk and 12 pack needed to install.
