Steering Stabilizer is my next Purchase!!
I read the threads several of you have written on the steering stabilizers and how sweet they were etc.etc. but didn't really appreceiate what they could do for you. We have a really bad red clay mudhole on one of our roads that is about 60 feet long and no bottom. They had a skidder stuck in it till they brought a dozer down to drag it out and it had problems. Several of the guys got their quads stuck in it and I pulled a couple of them out. They were givin me hell and wanting to see the brute get stuck. I told them wouldn't happen!! I tore the bottom out of it and made 4 or 5 trips throught it slingin mud everywhere. Covered the brute up! On my last trip through I was rippin it up and got to going sideways down through the puddle I was trying to correct and had the handle bars turned full right with my left arm fully extended and holding hard. All of a sudden the front wheels dropped off in a rut and turned the handle bars back to full left in the blink of an eye. Almost threw me off it was such a severe turn. I heard and felt the pop when it happened. My arm went numb and I couldn't raise it more than a few inches. Hurt like a mug! Of course I acted like nothing was wrong and went back through it again. Got back to camp and it was swelling quick. Had a big bag of fluid hanging off my elbow. Started to get a syringe out of my med kit to draw off some fluid but decided to wait till morning. Put an Ice bag on it while huning Sat. afternoon. Kept Ice on it during the LSU AR game and that night. Swelling was down quite a bit Sunday morning. I took a pic of it this afternoon when I got home and got a shower. Starting to color up and still swollen, still hurts like Hell too! Stabilizer would have saved me a lot of pain and a tricep muscle! It is my next purchase I SWEAR!!! I'm savin my coins now!!! Here is one pic of a Honda 450 4wd stuck in the hole and two of my arm..

Yea that looks like it hurts bad. If it snapped-over that quick, the stabilizer would have saved you. Sence I have had mine there has been about five times when it has saved my azz. Mostly I forget its there until times like that.
You know the one to get.

nuttin but a thang! My pecker been hurt worse than that before! Pretty sure im gonna make a small cut and push that bone chip out. I can move it from outside elbow to inside of elbow and it doesn't seem attached to anything. Its keeps catching wrong and feels like its cuttin or stickin me. Plus I don't like to think of somethin loose and free in there.
