Lift kit

Rode a couple of hours with a friend who has an '09 Grizz w/29.5" Swamp Lites and a 2" lift. A couple of times I had to be winched out because I got high-centered. Obviously, more ground clearance is the answer. I'm running 27" Swamp Lites now, and really don't want to go any bigger than that. Will a 2" lift put too much strain on the drivetrain or will I be safe with that? Also, will I realize enough clearance from the lift alone to justify doing it?

I think it will deffinitly be harder on drivetrain, since the CV's will always be running at a constant angle which they were not designed for. I've never ridden a quad with a lift, so I cant say to much..but 2" higher is in my future plans aswell.
