warn winch

i cleaned my winch cable the other day, sprayed it down with silicone spray and now a few days later mywinch switch is is working in the reverse direction the out goes in and the in goes out. is my switch bad? or i could i have put it on that way? i did not have help when i did this so i could not see the switch thanks .

Sounds like you just reeled it out all the way and kept going just enough to reverse the wind. You could try bringing it out again(with your in button..lol) and and just keep going with it. That should fix it.
