Default Power Madd handguards

Installed a new set of Power Madd handguards. Great product. Somewhat easy install.

Default Power Madd handguards

To be honest it was an easy install.
The guard to the left looking at the picture required taking off the the bracket that holds the throttle assembly on the bar. then the power madd bracket had to be wiggled in to make it under the brake cable. The assembly had to be pushed toward the pod as much as possible just to fit. The right side required lossening the bracket and turning the brake lever down a bit to make the mount fit. Other wise the metal insert into the brake res would interfere with the mounting. Then I mis read the directions installing the guard itself. I had to undo them a second time before getting it right. All said and done however they came out real nice and seem to be a quality product.

Mine just touches but I have it where it falls in that very center strip. I can still get it OK.

Same here. No problems. Even with new solex bars I need to roll controls forward a bit so the diff lock lever can come under the guard.

I wanted to do the bars, but wanted to keep the pod as is, so not use the risers. How would that work VT?
