A Handlebar change would be nice. I too do not want the low POD mount with a new set of bars.
I had a CR High bend Fat Bars w/2" risers 1st for the handlebar switchover on my 08BF750 but the 2" riser was too low, then I got the 3.5" riser's, that fixed it but then I bought a new Outlander 800, what a mistake that was.
I ended up taking the CR High bend bars off of the 08BF when I sold it and put them on the Outlander with the 2" Rox riser's but since I was so disappointed with the Can-ham I took took the CR high bars off and sold them to another owner who has no choice but to keep his C/A. I sold the Can-ham after just 3 months and replaced it with this New 09BF750.
Now the Can-ham stock bars are even worse than the stock Brutes bars but the C/A was a easy switch over b/c of where the POD is monuted.
What I didn't like about the 3.5" Rox Riser's was the fit in the stock stem mount, so now I am looking for a different bend in a aftermarket handlebar that will give me the rise I need with just a 2-2.5 inch riser. I know I can mount the POD back in the same location on the new Bars, it will just take some Fabing of brackets but I have seen it done when KOD did it to his BF840. First, I need to find the right handlebar as the CR high bend doesn't have enough rise to it.

Well if you find some bars a little wider then the stocks with the same rise...PLease let us know.. I wand it a little wider and a little more turn-back but I want to keep the pod where it is.
