If he did not use the risers would'nt it make the bars real low? The stock bars are buck horn style. The solex are real flat track style with 2" rise. I am not sure they would work well with out the the risers.
I iwll tell you I love my set. What a difference with both handling and in my opinion looks. VT sold me on them. Worth the money

thats a good point you may be elaning over more if you don't use the risers. Rox may sell a handlebar that is a true replacement though. but once you have the setup you would be very pleased

I'll check into it. Thanks guys. It was that I bent one side down a bit then just pulled it back, but you know how that goes, just not the same...might be weaker.

That ROX riser set up works real sweet. I must say.
A lot less fatigue at the end of a long day of riding.
