penlocks
I've read before about the penlocks and it probably would have save my quad from rolling over if I'd had it but here is my ?
When it is engaged, do you have to be in 4x4 or can you put on and leave it on? I'm thinking if your out of 4x4 mode then it shouldn't matter or is it like some 4x4 trucks were it will make steering harder in two wheel drive?

The Pen-Lock is a great tool. No more holding the lever while you are wrestling through the mud or shooting the hills.
Leaving it engaged even when in 2wd does make your steering much much harder.

Personally I enjoy not having to hold the lever, its an cheap and easy mod well worth it in my opinion.

Parts Unlimited has them, I think it is Parts Canada up there though. Otherwise Dennis Kirk, or www.dicksatv.com (sponsor).
