Default A few new mods completed.

I finished up a few new mods in the last month and thought I would share a few pics of what I have been up to.

http://community.webshots.com/album/559637127hfHnkM

Also, I installed an FST 840cc big bore kit and a Twin Air power flow filter kit. This filter is deffinately a great breather. Just installing it and taking out my K&N I had to shim the needles in the carbs.
I am waiting on a full Muzzy exhaust as well.

I have been thinking very strongly about having the clutch machined since seeing your raves about it.

The 840 is incredible, from a dead stop it launches like a cannon with the front in the air and then the high lift long duration cams kick in and it wants to rocket to the clouds. This is with my 27" XTR on type 7 tank wheels (40+ lbs each). I am also thinking about some 26" Terracross on SS 112 rims to gain some performance back. Top end on black top I hit 79 mph and I still need to rejet as it is leaning out at top end WOT.
I can not wait to wake this thing up with the EHS cover (still need to order) and Muzzy. I originally was jetted a quite rich and ran it with the lid popped open and the thing was a monster. I rejetted in the parking lot of the hotel and closed the lid and I noticed a big drop in power. Once I have all I want, no the Muzzy and the EHS lid and rejetted, on it I am looking to have the thing dynoed and see what I have ended up with.

Where are you getting the Twin Air power flow filter kit? I can't find them. How much did it cost? I need a good filter. I'm thinking this would be the best.

Parts unlimited has them so any dealer that handles Parts unlimited can get them. Try our sponsor BVC or you can order from Twin Air.
The Power flow kit costs $230 but that includes a new mounting system and a dome style filter.

You can also get a stock style replacement for about $20. This is still a good improvement over the OEM filter.
Also, I highly recomend the twin air filter oil. It is tackier and does not run out of the filter like others do, unless you know of another good oil.
