Default Speaker Pod.............Almost done!

It will be back from Rhino Liner this afternoon. The pod was constructed out of 1/2" thick cardboard rolls, MDF, fiberglass, and bondo. I'm putting in Polk Audio DB651 6.5's, a Sansa MP3 with FM tuner, and a Mitzu 150w amp. I used Jeep type latches to hold the box down to the rack. I also put quick connectors on it so it can be removed in seconds. It was wired straight to the battery with a 30a in-line fuse. I'll get some pics up this afternoon of the finished product. Here's a couple pics:

Default Speaker Pod.............Almost done!

I've been really busy lately, but I did manage to finish it last night. I'll snap some pics of it tonight or tomorrow and get them posted. It turned out pretty good. I'm not real happy with the Rhino Liner job. I noticed that it had a couple of runs in it, but it'll do for now. I put alot of time in the finishing and sanding and I really wanted a quality job done on the liner. Oh well.
