If you never ride alone then it isnt your only way out so saving a couple hundred might be your right choice.
I also agree. My 2500 gets a good workout and I've had mine for 2.5 years. I just replaced my first ring gear and now its good to go for another 2.5 years. I would buy another Warn in a heartbeat.

I just rebuilt my Warn 2.5 ci. All my problems stemmed from being burried in the mud, and water. Both gear cases, and the motor can were packed with mud. No parts needed replaced, just needed to free everything up, and clean out the motor. Both of my planet sets were seized. I soaked them in a tub of PB Blaster for 2 weeks, and got them freed up. When I reassembled, I packed them with waterproof grease from advance auto., and sealed up the motor a bit. Ran it a few time before reinstalling. Was a little slow, due to the grease, but once it worked its way in, it was fine. Works BETTER than it did new! IMO, go with a good, brand name winch, and disassemble, clean and grease. This is now going to be a part of my once a year, disassemble everything, clean and maintenance.

The brown truck delivered my winch yesterday. It looks good. I think it will be great if I can just find the time to install it.

Good deal. It'll be on in a few days. I'm waiting on the brown truck too. Got some Kimpex fender guards with passinger pegs coming so I can take the grandson out sometimes. At least that's what I told the Mrs...

What a eoincidence! Brown truck come by my house too. You think it was the same one? They dropped off a mounting kit for a 4 x 5 Adventure Rack I am putting on my H3. I found the rack in decent shape on an H3 site. It had some paint scrapped off and and a few spots of rust etc.... I LineXed it and I think it looks perfectly awesome. I will lineX the mounting brackets too before I install it all. The Rack also came with HighLigt bracket's... Sounds like a good day for alll..
