Default Gorilla/ ProMark winch

I have decided that I am going to use my Sportsman 400 for plowing, rather than the Prairie this winter. So, I just finished buying a bottom plate mount at Dennis Kirk. I need a winch, for raising/ lowering the plow, and needed one in general anyhow. I found this deal, on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GORIL...item5d2680367f

I figure for that cost, with free shipping, I can't go wrong. I also bought a winch mounting plate for another $45, with free shipping, from them. $130 total for a 3000 lb winch. I did a quick google check on Gorilla winches and they seem to have good feedback. Time will tell, but if you need a winch..... this is the cheapest I have seen one, ever, that I can recall.

I've got a gorrilla on my brute. I've used it on several occasions with no problems. I had a gorilla on my prarie for about 4 years. I used it quite a bit for plowing and even moving a few logs. It recently died, the internal gears stripped. I will probably replace it with another gorilla because of the low cost.

If I get a few years out of it, I will be very happy. For for $84.99, I could buy four and still not even be at the cost of a Warn 3000lb winch. My first winch, ever, was a Warn A2500 that I paid $360 for, in 2003. I rebuilt it 3 times in three years and finally trashed it. I bought an Extreme 2500lb winch and it has worked without problem for the last three years. I bought the Gorilla as it was even less than the Extreme and seemingly good feedback.
