I am looking at getting a plow for either my 680 Rincon or my 750 Brute Force and was wondering what brand is a good plow and which size to go with?
Thanks for any input

I would go with the 60", that way when you angle the blade it will still be wider than the quad.
I find the cycle country plows hold up the best around here.

I have a Snowbear and my brother has a Warn. His has lots of extra goodies like power tilt and lift without using the wench. Both are 60". If I had it to do over agin, I would probably get a Warn. I have no experience with the others, but I am sure they all have their good points...even my Snowbear.

I have the moose works fine I did however add the extra mudflap on top off the blade so snow doesn't come over as easy. I have the 4 foot myself its easier to get in and out of the garage. also if it takes alittle longer your still on your quad so it ain't so bad :lala:

I will add another one. I bought a Tusk City Slicker from Rocky Mountain. Quality was top notch. The steel was solid and the powder coated finish was nice. The mounts are simple and I was extremely pleased with it. Cost was also awesome. I paid 365.00 shipped

I got mine with a 48" CC and I like it. I wasn't really sure on what size when I bought my brute a few weeks ago and the stealer was no help. I wasn't sure how well it was going to plow either since I never plowed with my atv's before. I wish i went with the 54" or 60" though but have no complaints about this one. The 48" is just wide enough that with stock wheels u don't drive on the snow while plowing. Next winter i'm gonna get a larger blade though since they all mount to the same mounts and are fairly cheap

Do you have the Moose County plow or just the regular straight Moose Plow?
Thanks

the regular and actually I think is the 54 inch not the 48 I like that size myself. I didn't know how the country one would work when angled both ways because of the design of it.

I have a Moose straight plow on my Prairie and it works fine. However, I used to have the County plow on my old Suzuki Vinson (damn my ex for getting that one in the divorce!! ) and it was a far better plow for moving snow. Despite the one high side, it still worked well angled either way. If I had my choice between the two, and use was primarily for moving snow, I would get a Moose County plow vs the Moose straight plow. Also, try to make sure that you get a large enough plow so that even with the blade angled it will clear a path at least as wide as your tires.
P.S.... moved this thread to ATV accessories as it fits better there and will be easier for others to find who might be searching for info on atv plows.
