Going to pick up an 08 BF 750 this weekend.

Need to get a plow for it. I really want the Moose Rapid mount, but for some reason they dont make it (yet?) for the 08's. I like the Tusk/American Eagle system also. Ive looked into Kimpex, but i cant find anywhere to buy them or find any info on the mount plate, to see if it hangs down low or if i can take it off after winter. (1 reason i like the Tusk/Eagle is that u can take the plate off and still have a skid plate)

The rapid mount would be the best for me, so i can load it into my truck easily, since u can lift it i believe 20 inches. Ive asked moose if they plan on having it for the 08's w/ no response......

ive read all about them. just waiting to see if they make it for the 08 BF. I cant get Moose to answer my question of whether they will be offering it for the 08.

Plus, ive heard some negatives about them, not only price but durability of a front mount plow.

Just wish I could find out if the 07 mount will work on the 08. nobody seems to have one on a BF and finding info online is pretty much zip.

This SnowBear I have has that center beam that runs to the back to the hitch. The front brackets are just behind the front A frames on the main frame. The skid plates stay on. I could leave the brackes on as they are not in the way, but its a pound or two so I take them off in the summer. Takes 5 minutes. When I use the wench to lift the plow, its high enough to allow me to drive it up my ramps into the back of my truck...and I have a Dodge 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive, so you know that's pretty tall even using the 7 foot ramps.

I like that all the impact goes back to the hitch and not on the mid frame. What I don't like is that the front bracket lets it drift a bit from side to side..about 2 inches or so.

But, with the brackets in place, it takes about 2 minutes to hook-up and unhook.

trying to get moose to tell me if they are going to offer the rapid mount system for the 08/09's.

i dont mind waiting if they are going to have it... must be enough changed in 08 that they are either slow to make it or dont want to.
