From about July to Dec. I use my brute to haul corn and rice bran to all my feeders. I have been putting (6) 50lb. bags in my back basket and behind me on the seat and still have to make 2 or 3 trips everytime I go. I don't really want to haul more than the 300lbs. but I would like for my suspension not to be bottomed out and rubbing my back fender gaurds every little bump I hit. I weigh close to 250 +300lbs of feed = 550 - 600 I need to be able to carry. Are there better springs to put on or better HD shocks and springs? I thought about looking into air shocks with a on board compressor to add air when a bigger load is on board but that is pretty expensive. Any ideas anyone or has anyone already been down this road and has the answer? Thanks.
Will a 2 inch lift help? or will it still bottom out with that much weight?

I hear the HL springs start where the stocks stop...meaning the max setting on the stocks are about the same as the lightest setting on the HLs, and Mudduck1979 has a fill set of springs w/HLs for salein the PARTS FOR SALE section for I think 200 for all.... Might be the answer Slumlord.
Wow, that's a lot of weight man. Maybe one of those ATV trailers would be better.

If I remember right the HL springs give you 100 more pounds of carrying weight per spring. I could be wrong though.

I have used a trailer for bigger projects and building stands etc... but for filling feeders its a pain in the butt! I have some stands in some really deep remote locations and its almost impossible to get to a few of them pulling a trailer. Crossing creeks, mud holes, logs and weaving through the thick timber etc... I can use a trailer to a few of them but then when the bike is MT its not as fun racing back to the camp to get another load if your pulling a trailer.... If not loaded I like to cut up a little, throw a little mud, cut some ruts and jump a few bumps etc... Trailer? Bah, humbug thats for Granny! I just need a little extra ump in the rear end. I am talking to another member about HL springs and a HL 2"lift kit. Will this solve my problem guys???

It should. I guess the weight isn't a problem for your racks?

Max load rating for the drop rear rack was 150 lbs but I only put three bags fully in it the other three are kinda on the back of the seat and my passenger pad so the weight is distributed over the back of the Brute and the rear basket. I have hauled 6 bags 10-12 times this year on the rear and no probs. so far other than the rubbing and bottoming out.

Talked to Jeff at HighLifter out of Shreveport today and other than spending 3-400 bucks on Works shocks my best bet is to buy HL HD springs for the rear, They will add 100lbs each to my load capacity. If I am bottoming out now on the ruff spots and I add 200lbs carry capacity that should fix my problem. Priced at about 100 for the set! Unless someone knows of something better I will probably order them in the next couple days. I am also thinking of getting the 2 inch lift kit while I'm at it. In my way of thinking ( which is screwed up sometimes) The tires stay on the ground, If I add 2 inches of additional space between my tires and fenders that also will help fix my problem! Right??? SO 2"lift kit and rear HD HL springs! Everyone agree???

Yeah, I gave him a shout and we e-mailed each other a couple times but he just got a new Brute and is going to keep them now to put on his new ride! Don't blame him there! So, I am now looking new unless someone else out there has a set of rear HL springs and a 2"lift kit! I seem to remember several lowering there brute with kits, did any of them have a lift kit on their's they want to get rid of????
