Yeah, I gave him a shout and we e-mailed each other a couple times but he just got a new Brute and is going to keep them now to put on his new ride! Don't blame him there! So, I am now looking new unless someone else out there has a set of rear HL springs and a 2"lift kit! I seem to remember several lowering there brute with kits, did any of them have a lift kit on their's they want to get rid of????[/b]

I'm with you 100% on the springs for your machine. But after hearing about the problems people have been having with that increased angle on the CVs because of their lifts, not so sure about the lift kit. Probably the 2" is OK though. Maybe try just the springs first, then if needed, do the lift later. The springs are going to lift you some anyway. Just my opinion. Break'n CVs...and axles.. is expensive.

May be right! I wanted to order the springs from one of our site sponsers but can't find them on any of their sites. Do any of them carry them? I found the 2" lift kit on SSATV and will purchase it from them If I still need it. Also, does anyone know for sure if the V-force tie rods and ends are the same for the Brute? I have a set of Venforces stainless tie rods and want to purchase the stainless ends but not sure they are the same. He only advertises them for the V-force. I compared the rods to whats on there and they are the same length just heavier built.

I measured my stock rods once for Venforcer to see if they were the same and both the Brute and the V-force have 13" rods, so yes, aparently they are the same. The thread is in here somewhere. I'll look for it.
Found it. Here it is

I have a set of his rods but wanted to make sure the tie rod ends are the same. Do they have the right taper and thread length etc... will they fit up in the arm and tighten down correctly before I order and send him 90 bucks!

Man I would think so. Might PM Venforcer to confirm. Could you spin-off one of your outers to see if it fit the V-force thread? He was puting a set of Brute tie rods on a V-force I believe. I don't think he had any problem. The link is back on my last post if you want to check it out.

Do any of our site sponsors sale the High Lifter rear springs for the Brute 750? I would like to purchase a set and would rather spend my money with them than someone else.

Besides HL, I found the HL springs on Babbits for about 55 rear and 39 front. That's probably each.
I have not seen then anywhere else.. yet.

Mudlift is hooking me up with a new set of HL springs. Has anyone changed the springs out without using the HighLifter sping tool for $45? If someone can tell me how to swap out the springs with out having to buy the tool it would save me prob $50 counting shipping. I can use that $50 to put toward some venforce HD tie rod ends....
:deal:
