Default warn 2500

Has anybody that has a warn winch have had a problem with it not goin out when you press out.
When I press out it just clicks at the selenoid.Could it be the selenoid? help needed.thnks

My old Warn A2500 did that.* It was a bad contactor.* Warn covered it under warranty, as winch was under a year old.* You can verify the problem by swapping the wires on the winch.* If it then goes out, but not in, you will know it is a bad contactor.* Good luck with it.

I don't remember the colors.* Just the two wires that attach to the winch itself.* Reverse them and see what happens.* If it goes out, and not in (reverse of what is happening now), you will know it is a bad contactor.

I changed them and it didnt do anything.i changed them on the contactor and the winch and still nothing.any other advice?

The only other thing I can recommend is to find a buddy with a working warn winch and see if he will let you borrow his contactor.* Then you can at least be 100% sure if that is the problem, or not.
